About the Role: Analyst Engineer
The Strategic Initiatives Team within the Outsource Platform Services department at BlackRock is looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join as Analysts/Application Engineers.
This team plays a key role in developing technology solutions and reengineering internal processes to achieve scalability and innovation across the company’s middle-office outsourcing business. The team also contributes to the advancement of AI strategies that shape the firm’s operational efficiency and client experience.
In this role, you will act as a strategic enabler, driving technology alignment, process innovation, and platform scalability.

- Working with cutting-edge technologies including Python, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, and other open-source tools.
- Developing testable and scalable software through an agile methodology.
- Collaborating with users, developers, designers, and product managers to convert ideas into functional prototypes.
- Solving complex technical problems using data-driven and process-oriented approaches.
- Maintaining open and transparent communication with global teams across time zones.
- Contributing to open-source technologies and participating in continuous innovation initiatives.
