The Role – IT Engineer (Bangalore)
Razorpay is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Engineer who can help maintain, upgrade, and manage software, hardware, and networks. This position involves working across multiple platforms, including Mac and Windows operating systems.
As an IT Engineer at Razorpay, your main goal will be to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all technology systems, contributing to a seamless experience for employees and clients alike.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain current, stable, and compliant technology architecture in line with enterprise standards.
- Manage the system and application environment to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to infrastructure design and development while researching and implementing new technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues to restore normal service efficiently.
- Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, migration, and maintenance of Mac systems and related hardware/software.
- Resolve alerts, perform system remediations, and ensure alignment with architectural blueprints.
- Collaborate with multiple IT and business teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Proactively report on technology performance and utilization.
- Develop scripts or programs where necessary to automate recurring processes.
- Provide input for tactical strategies and procedural improvements in IT systems.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on HelpDesk or IT administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in Apple product management and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and project workflows.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high critical thinking abilities.
- Capable of adapting to rapidly changing technologies and business needs.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly.
- Working knowledge of multiple technologies and their integration with business systems.
